Floorstore Outlet, Leeds

Floorstore is a family run business established in 1961. It is part of the Jim's Carpets Group, and its legal entity is Jim's Carpets Ltd, trading as Floorstore. The company specialises in the supply of domestic and commercial flooring. Floorstore has showrooms in Leeds, Roseville Road, Crossgates, Wakefield and Harrogate, and a head office, warehouse and trade centre on the outskirts of Leeds city centre.

It was awarded Flooring Company of the Year 2023/24 at the Yorkshire Prestige Awards. Together, the company has more than 150 years of knowledge and experience. Floorstore is part of Carpet Recycling UK and supports Wakefield Hospice as its nominated Charity of the Year. Services range from supply only to tailored and bespoke.

Leeds shoppers at this carpet and flooring outlet consistently note the patience and product knowledge of the team, with Manny, Robert, Andy, O'Neill, Lee, Mat and Andrew all singled out for taking time to explain options clearly. Purchases of carpet, laminate and vinyl recur, alongside advice on durability and water resistance that helped customers decide with confidence. Fitting is a regular subject: Oniel coordinated a laminate installation, while Luke and Sacko earned praise for craftsmanship, attention to detail and working considerately around a home office.

Reviewers frequently describe keen prices, strong value and a wide selection spanning rugs to individual wood planks, with one replacement board sourced on the spot and a discount applied. The store is portrayed as friendly and accommodating, staff tolerating changes of mind over beading without pressure. Repeat custom appears common, and the finish achieved on installed floors is described in consistently positive terms, as is the willingness to answer questions long after the sale. Clear communication from first enquiry through to completion is another point that comes up often, with customers noting that queries were handled promptly and that appointments were kept as arranged.
