Privacy policy

About this policy Find My Flooring (findmyflooring.co.uk) lists flooring fitters, carpet retailers, and floor sanding and restoration specialists from around the UK. This notice sets out how personal data connected with the site is used. The site is run by findmyflooring.co.uk and can be reached at [email protected] for any privacy-related question.

No forms, but some automatic data There is nothing to sign up for on this site, so we do not ask you to submit personal details. However, visiting any page still causes your browser to send routine technical data to our web server - your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for instance - which is logged for security and performance purposes only.

Cookies, analytics and advertising We may use cookies to understand how the site is used and to support advertising. Advertising partners, including Google, may place cookies that show you adverts based on your interests elsewhere on the internet. You are able to review and change these advertising preferences at myadcenter.google.com.

Where the flooring company listings come from The businesses, star ratings and customer reviews shown here are gathered from publicly available Google Maps listings, not submitted by the businesses themselves. If you run a flooring business and want your listing corrected or removed, email [email protected] and we will deal with it.

Your rights As a UK-facing site we follow the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. You can ask what data we hold about you, request that it be corrected or deleted, and object to how it is processed by writing to [email protected]. You may also complain directly to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) at any time.
