CR Stanley Carpets - Plymouth

CR Stanley Carpets is a third-generation family-run independent business established in 1976. It is accredited by The Carpet Foundation and operates under a Consumer Code of Practice. The company offers free installation guarantees of 12 months. It supplies leading brands including Karndean, Cormar, Penthouse, and Polyflor. Services include home visits where samples are brought to customers. CR Stanley Carpets serves Plymouth and surrounding areas. It provides carpets, vinyl, LVT, laminate, commercial flooring, and carpet accessories.

New-build homes and first-time buyers account for many of the jobs described, and the accounts left by those customers follow a consistent pattern of patient, informative help. Named members of staff, including James, Jason and Charlie, come up repeatedly for taking time in the showroom to set out the differences between flooring types and underlay, explaining the advantages and drawbacks without applying any sales pressure.

An aspect raised across a number of reviews is how quickly matters move: measuring arranged around a customer's own commitments, quotes supplied immediately, and fitting slots found at short notice, including one case where installation was brought forward after a child injured a foot on exposed floorboards. Carpets are described as neatly laid, and fitters such as Pete are singled out for courtesy and care around the home. Clear communication runs from the first enquiry to completion, quotes are repeatedly called competitive, and the independent, locally owned character of the business is valued by those who mention it, along with the breadth of choice in the showroom and the friendliness of the team throughout.
