Unique Floor Finishes Ltd

Unique Floor Finishes Limited is a floor sanding and restoration company with over 12 years of experience. It has offices in Liverpool and Manchester and serves the North West, including Manchester, Liverpool, and Bolton. The company sands solid wood, parquet, and engineered wood floors. It works with commercial properties such as offices, shops, churches, and schools.

Services include floor sanding, staining, fitting, and repairs. The company restored a herringbone mahogany parquet floor in an old Sunday school hall in Didsbury. It installed a 120-year-old reclaimed parquet floor in a classic herringbone pattern. It repaired over 180ft of original Victorian pine boards and replaced old fireplace hearths with matching pine boards.

Full flooring renovations and the restoration of solid oak, pine and parquet boards appear repeatedly among the projects undertaken, with results that customers describe in glowing terms. Those who commissioned a complete renovation recall a team that was knowledgeable and clearly committed to the craft, guiding them through the selection of a suitable finish and delivering work that met a very high standard. Ian is named time and again for sanding and staining, arriving promptly, keeping the work area tidy and handling a newly purchased property with care.

One thing mentioned again and again is the scale of the change achieved: boards that looked worn are said to resemble newly laid ones, while parquet is reported as brought back to its former condition. Reviews regularly refer to quotes considered fair or more than reasonable and a swift turnaround between quotation and completion. Politeness on site is noted, as is the preparation of stairs for painting. Precision, an eye for colour and an easy-to-maintain surface feature throughout, and many state they would call on the service again.
