P J Carpets

P J Carpets has built a reputation among customers in Newcastle upon Tyne for attentive service and careful fitting, with reviewers repeatedly describing the quality of the finished work as outstanding. Several customers highlight the patience of staff who allow shoppers to browse at their own pace before offering help, and named members of the team such as Mark at the Kingston Park shop are singled out for going beyond expectations, including sourcing a matching offcut so a damaged section could be repaired.

Reviewers frequently mention the breadth of choice available, with prices described as fair and competitive, and the willingness of staff to talk through colours, underlay and fittings before measuring rooms and calculating costs. Speed comes up often, with carpets supplied and fitted quickly once decisions are made. Fitting itself is praised for precision, particularly around an oak staircase where tricky angled cuts were completed without a mark on the woodwork.

Customers also note that advice continues after purchase, whether arranging a site visit to confirm measurements or resolving small problems, and many describe returning for further rooms after an initial order. The friendliness and professionalism of showroom and fitting staff run through the accounts, alongside the impression that personal circumstances are taken into consideration during the buying process.
