The Flooring Company

The Flooring Company is a family owned, family run business based in Southampton that serves customers throughout the UK. Its team has over 20 years of experience in the flooring trade. The company provides flooring products and fitting services to both retail customers and business clients. Its in-house fitting team offers free measuring, and the company provides a free consultation.

Domestic flooring work of various kinds runs through the accounts left for this Southampton company, from carpet fitted in hallways, staircases and bedrooms to kitchen and ensuite floors, and the standard achieved is a point that comes up often. Supportive and knowledgeable staff are mentioned repeatedly, with advice on suitable products given freely and assistance offered beyond what was strictly necessary. The fitting teams are described as professional and punctual, completing jobs promptly and to a high standard.

Customers repeatedly mention keen pricing, citing a reasonably priced grey carpet offcut for a small bedroom after an unsuccessful search elsewhere, and a favourable deal on replacement kitchen flooring following a water leak under a sink. Communication throughout is described as faultless, from the initial enquiry through to the finish, with several reviewers noting how helpful the service proved at every stage. Fitters named as John, Connel and Dale earn particular praise for the quality of their workmanship. The family-run, local character of the business is another recurring theme, with customers returning for further rooms and additional properties, and the expertise shown on each visit.
