Number 1 Flooring

My wife and I ordered flooring for our living here a few years ago. We wanted the same flooring for our dining room. The order was placed and paid for. We had to phone to find out if it had been delivered. We arrived to collect and two packs were missing, which obviously meant we couldn’t start the process. I then had to call again after a few weeks to find out if our remaining packs had been delivered. I said I would be down the next day to collect. I drove 20 minutes only to be told it had been sold!! They had only 1 pack which I was able to take. They said they would deliver the last pack to my house. This was three weeks ago! They have not called or let me know what is happening! It has been more than two months and I still haven’t received my full order. This is a poorly run company, they do not return calls, they do not call to let you know a delivery is in and they certainly don’t communicate with each other. Avoid at all costs! Terrible service.

I had my kitchen, hallway and living room laminated and 2 bedrooms carpeted. Sam fitted the floors and I couldn't be happier. Excellent quality friendly staff and amazing service, you couldn't ask for any more. A great company would definitely recommend

Just had my LVT flooring laid by No1 Flooring Penarth Road Cardiff. The rooms done was the front room and the downstairs hall, both had unusual shapes. Firstly buying from the No1 showroom was a stress free experience. Nothing was too much trouble for them ... they showed us a lot of samples because they wanted to get it right for us. They were patient, friendly and very helpful. Secondly laying the floor ... a very big shout out for Besi who did a fantastic job for us. He was polite, helpful, very careful in his work and a very hard worker. He simply got on with the job, we were so pleased with his work ethic and he really did a first class job.... we are very pleased with the finish. We would thoroughly recommend No 1 Flooring and will definitely be returning when other parts of the house require flooring. Thank you again and the 5 star rating was very much deserved.

I recently had my living room, kitchen, and hallway laminated by Number 1 Flooring, and I’m absolutely delighted with how it’s turned out. Sam was the fitter, and he did such an amazing job—everything looks exactly how I pictured it. Sam was really friendly, professional, and clearly takes pride in what he does. He made the whole experience easy and stress-free, and the finish is just perfect. I’d definitely recommend Number 1 Flooring to anyone looking for great quality work and a reliable, friendly service.

Cannot recommend Sam and Besi highly enough they did an amazing job. We called them at 5pm, they arrived within an hour to come and look at the laminate laying job, they started straight away and had most of the job completed by 8pm. They arrived the next morning to finish the job to such a high standard! They were professional, efficient, the flooring looks fantastic, and their workmanship was brilliant. We will definitely be using them again in the future!

Quick, helpful, knowledgeable - I can highly recommend. I phoned on Saturday for flooring and it was fitted Wednesday. The flooring makes my new flat look spacious, clean and smart. Answered all my questions, gave good suggestions which made perfect sense and created the look I was hoping for. Thanks guys for making sure my flooring was fitted in good time in advance of my move in date.

Fantastic experience using Number 1 Flooring in Cardiff. Chris was very knowledge and helpful when we were choosing the flooring. The fitters, Sam & Besi, were professional, approachable and made the whole process as easy as possible. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend 👌🏼
