Cyncoed Carpets

Cyncoed Carpets is a carpet fitting and retail business based in Cardiff with over 20 years of experience. The company offers carpet, laminate, vinyl and accessories, alongside a fitting service. It also provides a free measuring service.

Staircases, landings, hallways and bedrooms feature heavily in accounts of work carried out by Cyncoed Carpets, with a fitted result that customers consistently rate highly. Luke, whose name appears often, is portrayed as approachable yet professional, calling to talk through options and provide a fair quote before any installation begins. More than one customer describes the fitting itself as quick, with several rooms completed in a matter of hours and no corners cut, and the finish is repeatedly praised as being to a high standard. The improved warmth and homely feel of rooms after new carpet is laid is a point that comes up often, as is the breadth of choice available.

Communication receives regular praise, from prompt replies to enquiries and samples shared by message, through to straightforward booking and rescheduling. Tidiness is another recurring theme, with spaces left clean once work is finished. Elis is named for attending to attic flooring before carpet went down, while the wider team is described as polite in handling matters such as missing grippers and door trimming as they arose. Repeat clients note consistent workmanship across years of returning, and further fitting work is something several would arrange again.
