Havwoods Showroom, Clerkenwell

Havwoods Ltd has been bringing design aspirations to life through natural wood for over 50 years and leading the flooring industry across the globe since 1975. The company operates showrooms in Clerkenwell, Chelsea, Guildford and Carnforth, plus a design studio in Knutsford, with teams based across the UK, North America and Australia.

Havwoods supplies luxury wood flooring, surfaces, veneers, acoustics, joinery and cabinetry products, and its wood surfaces are used in homes, apartments, retail spaces, restaurants, hotels and workspaces. It supplies FSC and PEFC certified wood flooring and offers a RIBA accredited CPD. The company supplied flooring for the Bharti Enterprises HQ in Mayfair, London, designed by The DSGN Studio.

Wood and laminate flooring supply defines the work at this Clerkenwell operation, where reviewers repeatedly praise the range of boards available and the knowledge of the team guiding customers through them. Several accounts describe staff taking time to compare different grades, colours and patterns, showing options under varied lighting so that buyers can picture how a floor will look once fitted. Named members of the team, including Toma, Connor, Baiba, Ronel and Steve, come up often for their patience, friendliness and willingness to explain rather than press for a sale.

A point that comes up frequently is the speed and generosity with samples, sent without hassle and without pushy follow-up. Customers note that chevron parquet and herringbone installations were completed neatly, efficiently and tidily, with finished floors described as looking impressive in flats and refurbishment projects. The absence of hard sell is mentioned as a particular strength, alongside the responsiveness of the support team before and after purchase. The showroom itself is described as bright and well stocked, with enough variety to suit different projects. Guidance on choosing between boards and lighting conditions remains a consistent theme across these accounts.
