Sheffield Carpet Edging

Sheffield Carpet Edging is a small family run business operating in the flooring trade for over 30 years. It provides a handcrafted carpet edging service that turns carpet off cuts into rugs, runners, and bespoke made to measure removable carpets and mats for caravans, boats and motorhomes. The business serves red carpet events, including parties and weddings.

Sheffield Carpet Edging has earned its standing through specialist trimming, joining and re-edging work on rugs, carpets and offcuts brought in by customers. The quality of the finished articles is the theme that surfaces most, with several reviewers describing rugs made from remnant strips joined together, stair runners supplied and finished with tape edging, and motorhome carpets cut and replaced. Speed of turnaround is praised repeatedly, jobs often completed within days or, in one case, inside twenty-four hours.

Precise trimming and neat finishing recur, whether mats are cut to exact sizes or edges are bound with wool chosen to match the original carpet. Customers describe straightforward communication, reasonable pricing and work done on their own materials, collected and returned finished. Named individuals including Lucien and Zac are singled out for their friendliness and help, and the father-and-son setup is noted. Patio door mats, dining room rugs and a piano rug feature among completed projects, with accuracy of cutting and binding treated as a consistent strength.
