Eric Gilbert Domestic & Commercial Carpets & Flooring

Gilberts supplied and fitted a Marmoleum flooring in our bathroom. It wasn't cheap but it looks fabulous and is definitely worth the expense.

Absolutely fabulous company. Ben was helpful and accommodating throughout the process and Steve the floor fitter was brilliant. In addition their pricing is exceptionally fair.

We were very pleased with the service we received from Eric Gilbert carpets. We had excellent advice before we placed our order and are very happy with how our flooring looks once fitted. The fitters were all very professional in their approach and meticulous with regard to detail. The floor tiling in particular is a work of art and the fitter was very clean and tidy for the full duration of the work. I would happily recommend them.

Another brilliant job by the Gilbert team. My old house is a nightmare, nooks n crannies n no straight walls, but still done a great job. Paul and Helen are anxious to give you exactly what you want, at the price you want.which is increasingly difficult with materials going up. Fitter does a excellant job .

Not bad. But Helen is a total stress-head and gives erratic service. One moment she's nice as pie, making quips and being all smiley. Next thing, she's speaking to you through gritted teeth trying to contain her rage. It's so weird. She's a nice enough person – just completely consumed by the frustrations of her company and annoying customers. Job itself was under par. I would probably have complained about poor workmanship but, honestly, I couldn't be bothered dealing with that woman anymore.

We bought 3 new carpets last month and the company were a pleasure to deal with - good advice about choice of carpets and underlay and found a good value end-of-roll for the small study. Fitters did a good job. If you are planning to give your old carpets away (as we were) be aware that the fitters cut them into strips when removing them to avoid scuffing the walls. If you want to keep them whole you need to remove them yourself before they come - this is probably the same with all carpet firms.

Had Bathroom Kitchen and Hallway done in Amitico. From Nigel/ Paul measuring up and Helen's help in the store and on the telephone I cannot praise them enough so helpful polite and professional. The fitter Matt was excellent a pleasure to have in our home and did a superb job. Would have no hesitation in recommending Eric Gilbert Carpets.
