AURORA Wood Floors

Huge thank you to Boguslaw who, along with his colleague Arnis, did an absolutely beautiful job of restoring our engineered wood floors. Boguslaw is quiet, polite, and an absolute professional, getting the job done quickly and efficiently, and somehow (and really quite miraculously in our opinion) making our cheap, less than stellar quality, scratched/ pitted/ gouged, dirty and extremely ancient flooring, look like a million dollars. We are delighted and I cannot recommend his work highly enough. Top class service, and a wonderful final result!

Thank you to Aurora Wood Floors for the fantastic restoration of our 1970s wood flooring. Bo was brilliant - super knowledgeable and amazing at his craft. It was clear he really cared about doing the best job possible, and it really shows: the results are stunning! Bo was meticulous in his work, especially as many parts of the floor needed careful repair. He also helped us make key decisions throughout the process and was a lovely, genuine person to work with. Bo and his team took care of our badly damaged floor and brought it back to life beautifully. They worked hard and were very courteous and aware that we had to live there whilst the floor was being worked on. they kept us up to date with every stage - the end result is fabulous and we are very pleased with the result. Bo and his team have completed a number of projects at our house over the last couple of years including: sanding down, filling gaps and treating of our original floor boards, treatment for woodworm, complete replacement of boards following flooding, stripping, Sanding and treating our stairs after the carpet was lifted to be replaced with a runner and repair and fixing down of boards under carpet to prevent creaking etc. The finished work was beautiful, I am so glad we got it done rather than covering the boards back with carpet. Bo and his team are kind, courteous, efficient, friendly and highly skilled a d knowledgeable. Bo went out of his way on a number of occasions to accommodate other issues we had going on at the house and was always available to answer questions we had. I recommend him highly and would use him again in a heartbeat. Thank you Bo!

The old oil protection had completely worn away on our oak floorboards, so any liquid that was spilled was being immediately absorbed into the wood and staining it over the last few years. Bo and his colleague sanded away the top layer and recovered it with a hard-wearing lacquer. They managed to remove all the grime and water marks that had built up over years and bring out the natural character and colour of the wood. I was particularly impressed with how quick they were (2 large floors in 3 days start-to-finish), and that there was no sawdust left anywhere.

We had a fantastic experience with Bogusław from Aurora Wood Floors, who was part of the team working on our floor restoration alongside AA Floors. After a few years of wear and tear from renters, our wooden floors were in real need of care — and Bogusław helped bring them back to life beautifully.
