Great service! Every step of the process was brilliant. They knew exactly what to recommend. The only up selling was pointing out that we could get most of a second room from the leftover carpet, and they gave us a really good deal on it. Fitting all went really smoothly, took way less time than we thought.

We had a fantastic experience with Paul and the Carpet Depot. Paul was able to talk us through the various options of carpet with detailed knowledge of the products and our needs. Most impressively was Paul's commitment to our tight timescales. We were moving house and in need of a very quick turnaround. Not only did Paul communicate clearly throughout, making sure the carpets would arrive in time, he also ensured our fitters were booked in promptly. The carpets are great and the fitters did a brilliant job. I would definitely use the Carpet Depot again if in need of carpets.

Up until the actual fitting, I would have given the Carpet Depot five stars. Paul was very informative and helpful when we first visited the showroom, and generously allowed us to take samples home with us for a couple of weeks to decide. However, the fitting team did not do a satisfactory job. We had recently (about a month prior) had our new house painted- Paul himself had advised we get all the painting done before getting the carpet fitted. However, as the attached photos will show- the fitting team extensively marked not only the skirting but also the walls in our freshly decorated house. We contacted Paul to flag this, and I have to say we were very disappointed by his response- he was incredibly dismissive of this damage. He implied it was inevitable and that it might have been lack of appropriate painting prep, which we knew was not the case. The skirting needs repainting, in our hall/stairs/landing and two bedrooms, as well as several areas of the walls. So the advice and carpet, yes, I’d recommend. But the fitters and after care was incredibly lacking and I would avoid.

Great service from Paul. We had our stairs recarpeted. He helped save us some money with some very accurate measurements and careful workings out. Fitting team provided a good service. Will be ordering new carpet for our loft very soon.

Great service from Paul at The Carpet Depot. We’re really happy with the carpet, which was supplied and fitted within a week of Paul visiting our house to measure up! Paul decided that a 4 metre wide roll would be just enough to cover our longest width, saving the extra cost and wastage of getting a 5 metre roll. Come fitting day, Darren the fitter couldn’t quite get the carpet under the door bar at the room’s widest point, but knew the solution - fit a wider door bar. The non-standard wider door bar in the correct colour was difficult for Paul to source but he came up trumps and Darren came to fit the door bar today - everything now looks perfect. I’ll be using this company again the next time I need a new carpet or new flooring. Thanks to Paul and Darren.

We used The Carpet Depot based on the recommendation of a neighbour. We wanted carpet for the lounge, dining room, hall, stairs and double landing. Quite a lot! Paul helped us choose an Abingdon Carpets product, visited to ensure that it would be suitable and was most professional and helpful at all times. First class. Came the fitting and Shaun arrived on his own, worked like a Trojan all day, was pleasant, polite, thoroughly professional and friendly. He did a magnificent job and even managed to move our piano without my help. It might be while before we are in a position to buy more carpets but The Carpet Depot will be our first and only call. Thanks folks.

Just had my whole house fitted with carpets from Carpet Depot. Paul and his team have been fantastic. Despite the anxieties of lockdown, Paul kept me informed every step of the way and his fitting team are lovely and skilled. Excellent price too. Highly recommend!
