Shortman Flooring

Floor coverings supplied and fitted form the core of Shortman Flooring's work in Brighton, where a father-and-son team handles projects ranging from bedrooms and hallways to stairs and landings. Reviews time and again mention carpets, vinyl and LVT flooring, together with self-levelling preparation on ground floors. Shaun and Gary are named frequently, described as professional, polite and knowledgeable about their trade, with customers noting that arrival times are confirmed in advance and that the pair arrive when promised.

Competitive pricing and quality materials, including plush carpet and thick underlay, come up often, and one household has returned for a third job while another reports a decade of completed work together. Tidiness, consideration around a busy young family and clear communication before and after installation are recurring themes. Short-notice requests are described as accommodated willingly, and the finished results are said to have transformed homes, with stairs and hallways singled out for particular praise. The consistent standard of fitting and the friendly manner of the two fitters keep customers coming back for further rooms and repeat projects.
