WOOD FLOOR SANDING LTD

Wood Floor Sanding LTD is a family-operated company that has been active on the UK trade scene for over 10 years. It specialises in domestic and commercial floor sanding and restoration services, working on hardwood floors, pine floorboards, and parquet floors. The company serves locations across London including Kensington, Chelsea, Muswell Hill, Hampstead, Mill Hill, East Finchley, North Finchley, Bounds Green, Crouch End, Archway, Palmers Green, Arnos Grove, Winchmore Green, and Central London.

It also does work for Cambridge University. The company uses virtually dustless floor sanding equipment such as Frank Pallmann Cobra, Wolff, and Kunzle machines. It offers guarantees and warranties for every aspect of the floor sanding, restoration, and refinishing process. The company has completed over 500 orders. Its main services include floor sanding, wood floor refinishing, wood floor restoration, floor buffing, floor fitting, and commercial floor sanding.

Homeowners with worn or painted floorboards form the bulk of the projects described, and the accounts that recur centre on sanding and refinishing work across London. A number of customers describe floors that looked tired, scratched or blackened being brought back to a smooth, rich finish that resembled new timber, with parquet and painted boards both handled. Robert is named repeatedly, and reviewers consistently praise his team for punctuality, skill and a clean site, noting that dust and mess were kept under control throughout.

A point made in several accounts is the care taken over detail: edges, coats of finish and the final inspection before the job was signed off. Customers also mention clear explanations as the work progressed and a willingness to check that the finish matched expectations. Quotes were provided after an initial assessment, and work in at least one case followed within the same week, which reviewers linked to a straightforward and well-organised process rather than any pressure. The transformation of parquet floors is a recurring subject, with the natural grain and colour of the wood revealed beneath years of wear.
