I coincidently stumbled across William Johnson Flooring. We chose Will because it was clear that, for him, fitting floors is an art and passion. Over 60 square meters of engineered wood floor and LVT, with a brief that said “to be fit seamlessly” - they delivered. What we got: 1. Customer service - Will and Joseph definitely provided service with a smile and never failed. They, together with their team, were polite, friendly, and an absolute pleasure to have around. Nothing was too much, they really (and I mean really) went above and beyond, and made the whole process easy and stress free. And if you have had other traders in, you will have experienced how that can be. 2. Grafters - There were challenges - our home wasn’t new, or fully renovated, it came with uneven floor, height threshold issues around the doors, and a want for seamless transitions - all overcome. As a team, Joseph was here for the early starts, and came on the weekend. Will did the 11 pm finish, and weekend including the Sunday service to ensure the work was complete and ready for the next steps. And some of this work wasn’t part of what they needed to do - the “above and beyond”. And they cleaned up after themselves, everyday. 3. Workmanship / precision - Will made sure everything was how it needed / we wanted it to be. The detail, installation and execution was to the highest standard. The telling question: would I call William Johnson Flooring again? ABSOLUTELY! It was a pleasure to have them do our floor, and to have them around. It has to be a vocation when you’re able to deliver all of the above and then some. Always choose the one that is passionate about what they do, they’ll make it with love. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Right from the moment I first contacted Will, the service was excellent. After a quick phone call, Will came out the following Sunday to look at the job. We then had to wait around six weeks for the work to be completed, but after his visit we received a detailed quote via email and everything was handled professionally from start to finish. When it came to the installation itself, we couldn’t be happier with the result. We’d already had several local flooring companies come out to quote, but nobody identified the amount of preparation work that was actually needed. Had we gone with another installer, I’m convinced the floor would eventually have failed. Will went above and beyond to make sure the preparation was done properly and that the flooring was installed to the highest possible standard. The attention to detail was incredible. It was quite a complicated floor to lay, and Will also suggested a feature design around our feature window. He created a compass detail which we absolutely love. It’s become a real talking point and one of the standout features of the house. What impressed me most was Will’s knowledge of LVT flooring. Having spoken to several other flooring companies beforehand, it quickly became obvious that not everyone has the same level of expertise. LVT is something you need to get right first time, and choosing the right installer is essential. We’ve been so impressed that we’ve already recommended Will to friends and family, and we’ll be booking him again soon to complete our kitchen and dining room flooring. I genuinely wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. Professional, knowledgeable, reliable, and the quality of workmanship is outstanding.

We hired William Johnson Flooring to install new flooring, but our subfloor was extremely uneven. Will and Jo did an incredible job leveling the floor first—everything is perfectly flat now. The new flooring installation is seamless and looks fantastic. They were professional, kept the area clean, and explained the process throughout. Highly recommend for any flooring project

I didn’t get the chance to use William floorings due to timings and distance. However, Will was so helpful, gave me lots of advice even though I wasn’t able to use their services (not many people would do that) He tried his best to accommodate but based on my situation it wasn’t working. My rating is on his knowledge, customer service and advice. He didn’t have to help me and that stands for a lot in the trading industry and just humanity. Thank you and for my next project that’s planned ahead of time I will be consider using William flooring.

With no hesitation we would 100% recommend William Johnson Flooring.Will and Joe recently came to fit Amtico LVT in our lounge and hallway.My husband is disabled and uses a wheelchair so logistically i was absolutely dreading the whole thing ,but right from the start they were absolutely brilliant and completely allayed my fears.Nothing was too much trouble ,they helped me to move furniture with no hesitation.The floor prep and fitting of our herringbone floor was done with such precision and skill .These guys are so professional with the most amazing work ethic clearly wanting to go above and beyond for their customers,our floor looks incredible fitted to absolute perfection,Will did a fabulous job of my new doormat inlayed in the floor.Thank you so so much both,good luck for the future and keep up the amazing work you do.
