Brilliant service and very helpful would definitely use again good selection of carpets

They made good job on my bedroom floor in the spare bedroom and I have another one for dinning room and tidied up them

Not a good experience in branch. I’ve just bought a house needing several floors, and my first time at Tapi. Walking in as the only customer to see several men dotted about the place sitting on laptops and conversing with each other not one of them even looked up or offered a hello or anything. We had a look at some flooring and were interested in purchasing. Eventually had to approach one of them for help and he barely looked up, didn’t bother with any greeting at all. Clearly seemed annoyed we had interrupted their 3 way staff conversation and was abrupt and unhelpful. Ended up feeling so unwelcome that I just said I’d order it online and left but unfortunately I will spend the money elsewhere. If you don’t want to approach customers that’s fine but when someone enters your building it’s surely customer service 101 for a “hello/welcome if there’s anything you need help with I’ll just be over here”. Cmon at least throw a few crumbs of attention to your customers. This is definitely not a sunflower lanyard friendly establishment and I can see from the other reviews that this is not an isolated occurrence either.

Have not brought a carpet from there because of the arrogance of the staff in the store. I've been on 2 occasions now, there is 0 customer service. The first occasion , I assumed the staff were serving a potential customer as everyone was sat down. I then later realised they were all staff, and I was the only customer. When I then asked some questions the responses were very blunt and did not explain things in depth. If you want more customers in such a big store, you need to do some upskilling on customer service. I would have most likely purchased from you on my first visit

He was really helpful when coming into the store to pick out flooring options and really informative when outlining the entire fitting process. We had just purchased our first home, had chosen the carpet we wanted and had ordered a sample online with tapi carpets. Fast forward to day of fitting, the carpet arrived and definitely wasn't the same as the sample (colour aside as I’m aware that this can vary). I wasn’t happy with the quality of the carpet to be fitted as it was not anywhere near the same density or luxury as the sample provided. The general manager from the Tapi carpets store in Leicester drove over an hour on the day of the fitting to my house to investigate the issue. Once he arrived he swiftly agreed that the carpet provided was not the same as the sample. To rectify this issue, he offered us an upgrade on the carpet. We drove to Leicester to have a look at the samples to see which other carpet we would prefer. Once we had chosen the carpet the General Manager kept me informed with the progress, multiple phone calls a day to update me (as I was quite stressed due to a set timeline). The carpet needed to be fitted before the following Friday to fit within the best timeline for us. This was made to happen, the carpet arrived matching the sample fully, including the colour! It was fitted on that following Friday so there was no issue with the timeline which is great. We couldn’t be any happier with the carpet. Thank you to Tapi Carpets in Leicester, would definitely recommend and if needing any carpet again, I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
