The Local Carpet Man is a flooring contractor serving Birmingham, and the feedback gathered from its customers centres on workmanship that meets a high standard. Richard, frequently joined by Rich and other members of the team, is named repeatedly for turning up at the agreed time and sending a message beforehand to check the slot still worked. Reviewers describe quotations given during the first visit, with samples carried along so that carpets, Amtico LVT herringbone and other options could be weighed up before deciding.

A recurring point is that the figure quoted matched the final amount, with no surprise charges and paperwork provided for every job. The fitting itself covers carpet supply and installation for individual rooms, staircases and landings, full-house projects and LVT laying, all finished promptly and neatly.

Tidiness is mentioned often, including the clearing away of old carpets and remnants, and on one occasion unwanted timber was taken off the customer's hands. Communication before and after the work is described as easy and free of pressure, with time allowed to commit. Landlords report using the team across several rental properties, while homeowners return for additional rooms after an initial installation. Friendliness and care throughout are themes that surface again and again.
