Amazing service what an amazing place to go so quick and efficient will defo use again

Disappointing from start to finish. Paid upfront for the carpet. The carpet fitters (sub-contracted) measured wrong so meant us having to move furniture around again so they could start in another room. We were getting squeezed into the fitters diary so didn’t feel like a priority, often turning up well into the afternoon. The guys were still working well into the evening while we were having dinner. The quality of the fitting was poor. When I called to complain, I was told it was the responsibility of the fitters (not Tapi, even though they sub contracted them) Tapi weren’t even prepared to come & look at the issues. The fitters were perfectly friendly & I felt happy to have them in the house despite not doing a particularly good job. I certainly wouldn’t recommend Tapi & would suggest trying to use local, trusted companies that actually care.

We had a great experience at Tapi Carpets & Floors. Craig was extremely helpful and professional throughout the whole process. He gave us great advice and helped us choose the right carpet for our stairs without any pressure. Very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. Excellent customer service — highly recommended.

Tapi were great but PAUL&NIGEL the fitters were the loveliest two guys I have ever had in my home, loved my little dog and had a good old chat with me while they worked too. I recommend them HIGHLY , great workers, polite, friendly and welcome back anytime 10++ from me 👍

We visited the Swindon store to place an order based on a pre-existing quote, only to be told that the laminate flooring we had chosen was now out of stock due to Tapi's supply chain issues. While we understand that stock issues happen, we had previously been told over the phone that a price match would be offered for an alternative within the same Quick Step range if this situation arose. However, when we raised this in store, we were told this wasn’t possible and that the only option available was a 10% discount. This left us feeling priced out, particularly given we had already budgeted based on the original discussion, not to mention spent time and energy having the home visit, deciding on the ideal flooring for our recently purchased family home, and travelling in to the store to resolve. Unfortunately, stock and price issues aside, the service we received in the showroom was very poor. The salesperson, Ian, was dismissive and came across as rude to both myself and my partner. There was no attempt to explore alternative products, understand our needs (room size, suitability for kids and pets, durability, etc.), or find a workable solution. We left feeling frustrated. We were there to be sold to, we just wanted some support in finding a solution. We even returned shortly after, hoping another member of staff might be more helpful. While speaking with another person at the sales desk, the original salesperson, Ian, interrupted the conversation, became defensive, and effectively shut down any further discussion. When my partner said it felt like we were being pushed out of the store, the response was simply that everything had already been explained. At that point, we left for good. A very disappointing experience from start to finish. We’ll be purchasing our £2000 flooring elsewhere!

I first used Tapi Carpets back in December 2017 and was so impressed that when it was time to replace our flooring we immediately turned to them again, drawn by their extensive range of high‑quality, good‑looking carpets. Simon was fantastic throughout the process, keeping us fully informed at every stage, and the invoice was a model of transparency, itemising each cost, from removal and disposal of the old carpet to a separate fitting charge. The fitters arrived on schedule and installed the new carpet with great skill and attention to detail. Based on this consistently positive experience, I would wholeheartedly recommend Tapi Carpets to anyone looking for reliable service and beautiful flooring.
