We were recommended to use Nick Hood Flooring by some friends. We were not disappointed. They had quite a long lead time (8 weeks from initial survey to installation) but that is reflective of the great job they do, that they are booked up so far in advance. We had Karndean flooring installed. Buster and Andy who fitted it were polite, clean and very helpful, letting us know what to expect and working hard when they were here. Nick Hood himself came out the following day to plane down the doors and put them back on their hinges. Would not hesitate to recommend. Really impressed. Thanks guys.

Fully 5 stars from start to finish. From our first visit to the showroom we felt comfortable that we were dealing with a professional, yet friendly and approachable company. This has subsequently proved to be the case, in fact actually delivering a first class service, carpets and fitting. The showroom itself had an extensive range of flooring. We appreciated being left to browse without any pressure, but with someone on hand to answer any queries and provide advice. We had carpet fitted in our lounge, hallway, stairs and landing. We also had vinyl in our bathroom and a separate toilet. The team, and they do operate as a team, provided a full service from measuring up, removal and disposal of existing flooring to fitting the new carpet and vinyl. The estimate was spot on and the fitting was completed on time. We are delighted with both the quality and fitting of the carpet and vinyl. All the staff we have dealt with have been polite, friendly and more than happy to explain and offer advice. Above all it is refreshing to see staff happy, cheerful and taking pride in providing an excellent standard of measuring up and fitting. The team were very punctual, and scrupulously tidy. The fitters went above and beyond, working uncomplainingly during the hottest day of the heatwave. We will definitely use Nick Hood again, although given the quality of carpets and fitting, it may be some time before we need them

We have used Traditional Carpets for the last twenty five years for carpets throughout our house. We have always been delighted with the service, the quality of product and installation. We have no hesitation in recommending Nick and his team.

I got several quotes for wool carpet but Nick Hood was best and local. Did stairs, landing & front bedroom. Really pleased with end result. Good communication with Shaun. All the fitters were friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.
