Newcastle Flooring Company Limited

Newcastle Flooring Company Limited is a flooring fitter based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Established in 1979, it is a family-run business with over 30 years of experience. The company primarily serves commercial and industrial customers, and also takes on residential jobs.

It is a member of the Contract Flooring Association, the Federation of Master Builders, and Constructionline. Services include design and fitting, free estimates and advice, and after sales service. Main flooring services cover carpets, vinyl, rubber, uPVC flooring, floor tiles, and wooden flooring.

Newcastle Flooring Company Limited has handled both commercial and domestic work in Newcastle upon Tyne, and the accounts that recur describe a shop floor and staircase at a jewellery business, where heavy counters had to be moved before the carpet was laid. The finished appearance and the state in which the premises were left come up repeatedly, with the fitting described as producing a flawless result and a full clean-up afterwards. Repeat custom is another common thread, one customer having used the company twice and reporting the same standard both times.

Advice and pricing are also mentioned: options and costs were set out clearly, and a quote was described as quick and reasonable. Running against this, the recurring criticism concerns the sales and measurement stage, where a salesman is said to have given unhelpful product guidance, failed to provide a promised quotation and ignored calls and messages, with other accounts describing rude or unhelpful conduct. Those complaints attach to the quotation process rather than to the installation, which remains the part most consistently praised across the feedback. The company also carries out work for hotels and businesses, according to reviewers.
