We’d been planning a big home renovation for months and spent ages looking for a local flooring company that genuinely specialised in Karndean Designflooring, parquet flooring, LVT, and proper bespoke herringbone work rather than just somebody who “does flooring”. After coming across Luxury Flooring Manchester, reading the reviews, and seeing some of their recent projects across Manchester and Cheshire, we decided to book a home visit — and honestly from that point everything just felt easy. One of the lads came out to measure up, checked the subfloor properly, talked us through different layout ideas, and gave us loads of advice about what would work best for the style of our house. It didn’t feel pushy at all, just genuine passion and experience. You can tell these lads live and breathe flooring and interior design. We were then invited down to the showroom in Wythenshawe for a design consultation and that completely sold it for us. The place is unreal. We looked through loads of Karndean flooring designs, luxury vinyl tile samples, parquet layouts and herringbone styles before settling on a smoked oak herringbone floor with a bespoke border detail. Using the big design table, we could actually lay different samples out and build the exact floor we wanted which really helped us visualise everything properly. Even little things like the kitchen displays, handles, paint colours and room sets made a massive difference because you could see how the flooring would actually work in a real home setting. When it came to the installation, the fitting team were brilliant from start to finish. Turned up on time every day, kept everything tidy, and talked us through every part of the install including the herringbone direction, bordering, feature strips, finishing details and different ways of setting the parquet out so the rooms flowed properly. Nothing felt rushed and the attention to detail was spot on. The finished floor honestly looks unbelievable and completely transformed the house. The quality of workmanship is next level and you can tell they really care about the final result rather than just getting in and out of the job. Communication throughout was excellent and everyone we dealt with was friendly, respectful and easy to have around the house. If you’re anywhere across Manchester or Cheshire and looking for Karndean flooring, LVT flooring, parquet flooring, herringbone flooring or a company that genuinely understands luxury home renovation projects and bespoke flooring design, I honestly wouldn’t look anywhere else. Lee and Lisa were so lovely and helpful at recommending floors to suit our budget, and what we were looking for, and Callum and Liam did a cracking job laying the floor. We live in a Victorian terrace house, and everything is a bit wonky! But it was no problem and we’re so happy with how the floor turned out! Communication throughout the process was very good. As the floor was being laid they asked for our feedback and opinions throughout the process to make sure we were happy with the result, and were friendly and professional. We went for engineered wooden flooring in oak planks.
