It took 3 months with back and forth dates that were never met nor was there any communication for cancellations by this company until I had to contact a family friend whose a solicitor for advice and requesting for my deposit back, which is when they eventually acted. Even with all the back and forth travels I made to have the matter resolved, communication was so poor. On second day of completing the flooring, I was told that the edges of the dining room flooring that leads to the kitchen needed a different edging because of a slight step and that this would be completed the following week because they had to order this. This was back in April when they said this and still now there's been no action nor response, neither a simple apology if you're unable to complete something. Additionally, I have a Makita radio DMR301, similar to the radio that they used during work. My radio only works with the mains cable which was attached to it and since the day that the flooring was completed, I've not seen this cable when they moved furniture and materials without my presence. Completely disappointed because when I initially went in to the store and paid my deposit, they were so helpful and supportive, however, when it came down to delivery, it was a truly unbelievable journey that I still live to regret every time I walk into my kitchen. My advice is to please not pay anything until you've had your flooring done to satisfaction with this company, otherwise you will be fighting battles not even necessary for a company you're trusting to be in your home

I would highly recommend the floorstore on leek road, the guys instore were really helpful and very reasonably priced and sorted a fitter out for me. The fitter Nick and his work colleague turned up on time and started work, they were both very pleasant and worked really hard. They have made a fantastic job laying my laminate and i would highly recommend. They have made such a brilliant job that i will be requesting them to fit my laminate in the kitchen many thanks.

Just avoid.. job not finished and months of ringing and texting just to be ignored. Kitchen floor and stair carpet was shocking.. just hoping this stops at least one person from being ripped off by this company. Note to self READ REVIEWS

Do not use this company I paid them £1077 for materials and was due to pay them the rest once the floor was fitted They did not turn up and are now telling me they have been locked out of the store and my flooring is inside Then they said the store has been cleared out so I asked the for a refund and they said they are not in a position to do that I am now left with no flooring and no money and they are ignoring all my calls avoid at all costs

We are extremely disappointed with Floorstore’s performance, which has been wholly unacceptable. Numerous attempts to contact them have been ignored, the quality of the installation is extremely poor, and the fit is completely unacceptable. The work required additional trim, which was not supplied, and the job was left unfinished. As a direct result of Floorstore’s failure to complete the works to an acceptable standard, my husband was forced to finish the flooring himself. Despite the skirting boards having been removed, the floor is already lifting and there are visible gaps throughout. This standard of workmanship falls well below any reasonable or expected standard and does not reflect a professional or competent service.

Ron and his son arrived on time , Ron was very polite and friendly, did a lovely job worked hard all day , we had the herringbone design, and as a past block paver I appreciate how difficult it is to fit a 45 degree angle every wall is a cut , and Ron got it perfect 👌 Professional and polite 😀

Flooring itself is good but we had no end of problems and broken promises with their fitter (who is the owners son). They finally came back and finished the job but lots of excuses as to why they couldn't come sooner. They also came without some of the basic equipment. I regret using them and also regret paying the fitter in full before the job was 100% finished.
