FLOORS AND FIX

Floors & Fix is a UK flooring company that supplies and installs carpet, LVT, laminate and engineered wood flooring. The company serves residential homeowners and small commercial businesses. It operates as a mobile Service Area Business with no showroom. All consultations are free home visits where samples are brought directly to the customer's property. A fixed written price is provided on the day of the visit.

Uplift and disposal of old flooring, sub-floor preparation, fitting and door trimming are included in the quoted price. A 12-month fitting guarantee is provided in writing on completion. The service area includes Berkshire, Surrey, Middlesex and Greater London. Every job is carried out by the Floors & Fix in-house team. The same team attends from the home visit through to final installation. There are no subcontractors.

Carpet, laminate, wood and LVT flooring supply and fitting, along with stair runners and repairs to damaged sections, form the core of the work reported by customers in Reading. Hamza, a fitter named in several accounts, is repeatedly singled out for craftsmanship and for carrying out extra small tasks without adding to the bill. A measuring and planning visit, with samples brought to the property, is described as helpful during the choosing stage, and the standard of materials and finish is said to match expectations.

Reviewers often remark on decent value given the level of workmanship, alongside friendly and professional conduct from the first enquiry onwards. Old carpet is uplifted and removed, new flooring is laid quickly, and jobs are reported as completed on time with tidy results. One household had a stair runner fitted, another a living room carpet plus a hall repair, and the finished look in each case is described as pleasing. The recurring themes are punctual, efficient teams, fair pricing and a finish that lives up to the advice given at the outset.
