Outstanding Work from Start to Finish ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We are absolutely delighted with the work carried out by First Floors. They have completely transformed our home, installing new LVT flooring downstairs and carpeting throughout the rest of the house. From the initial consultation through to completion, every member of the team was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely cared about delivering a high-quality finish. The workmanship has been exceptional. The attention to detail is clear in every room, and the standard of installation has exceeded our expectations. Having lived through a significant flood claim and a lengthy reinstatement process, it was important to us that the final result was done properly. First Floors have absolutely delivered. The quality of the materials, fitting and finishing touches have been outstanding, and our home now looks better than ever. The fitters worked incredibly hard, were respectful of our property, kept us informed throughout and left everything tidy at the end of each day. Nothing was too much trouble, and any questions were dealt with promptly and professionally. We would not hesitate to recommend First Floors to anyone looking for flooring or carpeting. First Floors were contracted to lay my entry flooring, stair carpet and landing carpet. Frank has done an excellent job and worked solidly without a break to complete a beautiful job. From start to finish Daniella (reception) and Ian (Estimator) could not be faulted and I am absolutely delighted with the service received all-round. Would definitely recommend.

We loved our kitchen floor so much we used FirstFloors again to do our living room. Very happy customer.

Mixed review as totally different experience between pre/post fitting. Pre-sale was great, couldn’t have been more helpful in terms of advice, expertise etc. Then on to the fitting, firstly on the day, the first fitter said there was no chance the carpet was going to fit. Half an hour later, one of the other fitters then said “we will make it fit”. Fitting itself was initially done well, but they made a mess of the skirting boards - which I can understand there can be some small damage to be expected - but this was pretty bad, all the caulk finish along the top had been split away from the wall. Fast forward a month and the carpet then started to come away from the fixing bar at the top of the stair, not an issue, understand this happens but when you are paying a lot of money for a carpet to be fitted, you don’t expect there to be issues. Anyway, they came out and fixed this and had aso said they would fix the caulk - which they didn’t. Another month later, and this time the carpet came away from one of the steps. Called, and was no apology, no mention of this being the second time in 3 months I’ve had to get an issue fixed, pretty poor service in my opinion. I mentioned the fact the caulk wasn’t fixed last time and so I wanted that sorted on this repair. Fitters came out the next week and fixed the carpet in 5 mins. They also “repaired” the caulk but was a completely rushed job for something very basic. No attention to detail, still gaps showing, just rushed, and with no care. Disappointing experience which does seem to be the anomaly with this place but really disappointed in the after-sale service overall. No concerns around the quality of the product, but I’m three months in and have had to have 3 separate things fixed. Not great.

Very poor aftercare, when I contacted David the company owner this morning regarding the "lip" fitting at the door way causing the kitchen door does not to close, he advised it was written onto the invoice posted out, which we never received, to say it could be our door to be would need to be cut, he could send a joiner at the cost of £50.00. This should have been discussed at the point of order then the decision would be ours not in an invoice that was never received, when I asked for a copy he mumbled then hung up on me!
