Edinburgh Wood Flooring

Steven was recommended to us by friends who used his services lately. We commissioned him to install an engineering wooden flooring in the corridor of our flat. Overall, we have been very happy with the process from his initial visit and the help with selecting the product up to the delivery of the installation. Steven was very effective at communicating about all aspects of the process before and during the job. We are planning to use more of his services for other rooms and would most certainly recommend him.

Steve and Harry installed underfloor heating and flooring in our entire home for us in summer 2024. We couldn't have asked for anybody more professional, friendly, and tidy - and at such a reasonable price! We trusted them to do the job whilst we were away for a week and we came back to a beautifully finished floor. 6 months on, we have had no issues (including no scratches despite a energetic dog running around), and we know that we can always reach out if something happens for any reason.

Steven has installed engineered wood flooring throughout most of the ground floor of our house and fitted LVT flooring in our gym. He has been extremely helpful and responsive from the get-go whether it was arranging samples for us or addressing our many questions with comprehensive answers. The whole process was very transparent and his advice regarding the materials helped us make all the right choices. We couldn't be happier with the way the floor has been fitted either. Steven runs a tight ship. He and his apprentice showed up and finished on time every day and their work was neat and well organsied which certainly shows as the end result looks amazing.

Just had Steven and young Harry finish up installing underfloor heating and laminate flooring in our lounge, kitchen and hallway. We were keen to salvage the existing lounge flooring as we both liked it and were aware of the environmental issues in scrapping a perfectly fine resource. Steven was only too glad to include this requirement into the project. From the first visit things went smoothly, the estimate was provided promptly and a schedule of work agreed. Steven dealt with the electrician and co-ordinated the works perfectly. The guys were meticulous and as other reviewers have mentioned they worked incredibly neatly. I've never heard a hoover so often in my house! There were no surprises in the invoices provided and materials were delivered on time. We are extremely happy with the great looking results and looking forward to a far cosier winter than we've ever had in this house before. Special mention must go to his young apprentice Harry, a very hard working polite young man and an asset to Steven's team. Well done, and a big thank you to you both!

We recently bought our first home and first step was having the entire flat, including the stairs, fitted with new flooring by Steven at Edinburgh Wood Flooring, and we couldn't be happier with the results.
