Highly recommend Dorset Wood Floors. Tom came out and discussed the job at length, explaining his method, products and making recommendations to improve the finish of my floorboards. Tom was punctual, reliable and kept me informed on progress throughout the job. Tom responded to texts and emails promptly, was exceptionally clean and tidy and sent guidance on how to maintain my floors after the work was completed. Absolutely overjoyed and would have no hesitation in using again or recommending.

Tom did a superb restoration of our existing parquet floor in the hallway and two reception rooms, completely transforming the ground floor of the house. He also laid a parquet floor in a new area, taking much time to match the colouring and finish. Tom was a pleasure to work with and Dorset Wood Floors is highly recommended!

Tom did an excellent job laying engineered wood flooring on the whole ground floor over a new concrete floor with underfloor heating in a refurbished Edwardian house. He gave us very good help and advice over a long planning period. He laid the floor beautifully and we are very pleased with the result.

Tom at Dorset wood Flooring fitted my Oak Wood flooring in lounge/diner, hall and downstairs toilet and I am extremely happy with it. Tom is a real craftsman who explained step by step the work plan and completed in the time he estimated. Outstanding from start to finish. We had a renovation of an old failing herringbone floor, including the replacement of a poorly patched area using recycled wood from another room, and a replacement with engineered Oak herringbone including level and bond matching to an adjoining room in the same flooring. Both were completed to the highest standard imaginable. Tom communicates well, does what he says he’ll do and completed the project in about the time he predicted. I could not be happier with this work.

We are so pleased with our herringbone wood floor, expertly fitted by Tom. The floor has a vintage look and really enhances our hallway. We’ve had lots of positive comments from friends that have visited. Thanks for your advice Tom and expertise.
