This is a fantastic company. They were so thorough in their work, making my kitchen floor (Cotswold flagstone) looking brand new again! After having it laid a year ago, we didn’t get round to applying the sealant, therefore spillages and marks became very stubborn. Bruce was extremely helpful with all my queries from start to finish. From my first point of contact, he thoroughly explained what need needed doing. He was very knowledgeable, knew his job very well and explained the whole process and provided great advice on any aftercare tailored to this particular flooring. Only negative I have is….i don’t want to let the kids and dog back in the kitchen !!!!! Thanks Bruce and team for an outstanding service!

I hired Cotswold stone floor cleaners to carry out a clean on the ground floor of my property. To strip back the existing sealant, clean the floor and re-seal the floor. To summarise, I now have a chemical damaged real wood worktop and a floor that was sealed to soon that is causing thousands of holes to appear in my floor. Started off well with a prompt response and attendance and it initially looked like a good job. However he missed a cupboard on and repeatedly lied about missing it. Bruce did come back to finish the job weeks later but damaged my kitchen worktop by spilling chemicals in the process. He then denied being in the kitchen at all, even thought I was in the kitchen with him when he was filling up a spray bottle in the kitchen to dilute the chemicals. Strangely, I do not even mind being lied to as long as in the end the job is done well. The main issue that has arisen after a few months is that random holes were appearing in the sandstone tiles. Some tiles with multiple pinholes and some tiles where 5mm wide and deep holes were appearing. After a bit of research this is when moisture is sealed into the porous stone. As this was cleaned with a lot of water and the sealing process was carried out immediately after the clean I am now 100% this was too soon. The entire process from arrival to leaving of quite a large area of stone floor was carried out in half a day. I would advise to anyone reading this, to carry out some research yourself before hiring anyone to carry out work on your floor and ensure you are fully aware about the works that will be carried out and how much drying time is required for your specific floor prior to sealing. Unfortunately I did not have time to carry out my own research, I trusted Cotswold Stone Floor Cleaners and am worse off for it.
