Wood Floor Resolutions

Steve & Dave did a great job laying nearly 20sq. metres of solid oak parquet flooring to the hall & study area. Even offering to carry out the work while we were away so that we didn't get under each others feet. They also sanded & re-finished our staircase & lounge flooring, finally fitting 30m of oak skirting board. They were a pair of freindly amenable workers who got on with the job at hand. Overall an excellent job carried out within time & cost quotes, cleaning the work area all very tidy before leaving. We are very satisfied.

We decided to enquire if our worn wooden block hall floor which was loose in places following a mini-flood could be refurbished rather than replaced. Steve was confident that it could be done and from our first telephone enquiry until the project was completed it was carried out in a courteous and professional manner. Dust and disruption was minimal and the job completed in under 2 days. We are very pleased with the result. Happy to recommend.

We have had a large ground floor area fully sanded and treated. It now looks fantastic! Steve turned up promptly and the work was completed efficiently and on time.

Steve and his team did a great job on reclaimed parquet flooring which we sourced from a school in Newcastle. We also wanted a bespoke design which meant Steve not only had to clean the blocks off but cut them down to size to make it work. He did a great job and worked well with our other contractors. He also cleaned up and fitted some reclaimed elm for skirting which looks stunning with the floor.

Moved into an extended cottage in the Corvdale and it had a real problem Oak floor. Kitchen by door was a lovely dark, scuffed brown from constant muddy shoes so researched the market and got Wood Floor Resolutions Ltd in for advice. Went ahead with some trepidation as never had wood floors before but was happy with Steve's reassurances. Not an easy layout but the guys did a great job of sanding and a Hardwax Oil finish…….the floor looked amazing and so good we went ahead and did the same for the remaining three rooms over time and now have a stunningly beautiful downstairs wood floor throughout the house. This included removing, supplying new Oak and relaying the large centre of the living room floor which was Pine (covered by a large rug)…..questionable cost saving by the previous owner!!! Can’t recommend them highly enough as their workmanship and consideration throughout was exceptional and very little dust too.

I have used this company on two different occasions one was to renovate an existing floor the second was to install a completely new floor. On both, the work was first class. Previous other companies had been a disaster .

Steve and his team are experts at what they do … they have a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of wood floor restoration and fitting . Over the years they have done 7 floors for me … I m always amazed how good it looks after they ve finished . I always recommend him to clients .
