Unique Floor Finishes Ltd

Ian and his team did a fantastic job sanding and finishing our floors. The floors look beautiful and exactly as we wanted, and they worked so diligently and took care to make sure we were pleased with the results. They went above and beyond! I would strongly recommend, some of the best we have ever worked with. Extremely professional and skilled.

From first contact, the communication was great, and we knew what was going to happen each step of the way. Our floor was covered in plaster and was hidden under carpet for over 15 years, and was so dark you could not really see the herringbone pattern. The team stripped it back to the natural wood colour, filled in the old hearth (we sourced the extra bricks) and then let us see a number of different stain options to get the look we were aiming for. I would not hestitate to use them again.

Ian and Josh were great from start to finish. Nothing more to say. See the photos. Highly recommend them.

Ian and his team carried out their wonderful and thorough restoration of our previously unloved 1905 Edwardian semidetached bedroom floor. Being an American I had no idea how this worked but Ian guided me and patiently answered all my questions — he even added a gap filling service I didn’t know was needed. You can see the huge difference his work made to the room! He even came out again with no charge to fix a floating floorboard not secured by previous residents. Such professionalism! I recommend his team highly — we’ve already booked him in to bring life back to another floor! Thanks Ian & the Unique Floor Finishes team!

Incredible service – Unique Floor Finishes Ltd. completely refinished our stairs, bedroom and landing in less than three days and our house has never looked nicer! They were communicative, helpful and respectful throughout – I highly recommend this company if you’re looking for reliability, professionalism and attention to detail! I’ve attached some before and after photos too – really gives you a sense of how good these guys are Cheers, Mark

Absolute professionalism from start to finish. Very reasonably priced. Got them to sand and lacquer my parquet floor which was restored to an amazing standard. Pictures speak for themselves, if you are in doubt about whether to book them in just do it, you won't be disappointed!!!

I am absolutely thrilled with the work done on my engineered wooden floors. The team were incredibly professional and worked so hard to bring them back to life—they truly look brand new again! They were friendly, efficient, and paid great attention to detail. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to restore their flooring.
