Manchester Wood Floor Renovators

Manchester Wood Floor Renovators is a family-run flooring fitters business established in 1975. It is also known as Modern Cleaning and Maintenance and is a sub division of Modern Cleaning & Maintenance Ltd. The company specialises in commercial timber floor restoration throughout the United Kingdom and provides wood floor sanding, polishing, and restoration services.

It uses dust-free sanding systems that remove up to 99% of airborne dust. It has worked on projects for The University of Manchester, including The Christie Library and The Whitworth Building. The company provides services for commercial, residential, and institutional clients, and offers flooring finishes including high gloss, gloss, satin, and matt water-based lacquers, and staining. It has been established for over 40 years.

Manchester Wood Floor Renovators was brought in to deal with old, worn oak boards in a recently purchased house, having already been noticed through earlier work at two city venues. The team stripped the timber back, applied a stain and finished it with a gloss lacquer, a sequence matching the floor sanding and polishing service and contracting work the business lists.

The customer reported that the boards appeared to have gone without care for around fifteen years and treated the transformed result as a striking improvement, with the whole job completed in a single visit.
