In Home Flooring Cardiff | The Stair Runner Company

In Home Flooring Cardiff is the trading name of The Stair Runner Company Ltd. The business has 25 years of experience and is a fully insured local business. It specialises in bespoke stair runners and offers no obligation free home visits. It supplies and fits bespoke wool, flatweave, sisal and synthetic stair runners with custom edging and borders, and also fits flooring to all other rooms.

The service area covers Cardiff and surrounding districts, Penarth and the Vale of Glamorgan, Barry, Dinas Powys, Wenvoe and St Athan, and it may also help customers elsewhere in the South Wales area. It exclusively supplies and fits stair rods from Stairrods UK, uses Jaspa taped edging, and stitched wool edging is done locally and offered in a diverse range of colours. It only uses high-density underlay or specialist underlays to suit the chosen runner, and gripper type is tailored to the carpet and staircase. Matthew is associated with the business.

Householders needing carpets throughout a property and stair runners for a main flight or landing feature frequently in the feedback for this Cardiff-based business, and the same themes surface again and again. More than one customer describes Matthew as knowledgeable and patient when presenting carpet and edging options, guiding choices on colour and border with what reviewers call a good design eye. A point that comes up often is the quality of the finished work, with stair runners and fitted carpets praised for attention to detail and a high standard of installation.

Punctuality, instant communication and readiness to answer questions or accommodate changes are mentioned repeatedly, including last-minute fitting slots that kept moves on schedule. Reviewers also highlight competitive pricing quoted clearly from the outset, quick turnaround on laminate for a salon, and a tidy, efficient process from measuring and templates through to completion. Customers mention returning for further rooms, which reflects the confidence the work inspires.
