Floorfixer

The pine floorboards in our bedrooms were rough and ready but, as we don't like the dust associated with carpets, we wanted to tidy up the surface and bring out the natural beauty of the wood. The floorbaords were in poor condition but, after three-and-a-half days of back-breaking and painstaking work, Rob repaired, sanded and laqueured the floorboards back to pristine condition. We are delighted with the finish. Rob's expertise, care and hard work very much contributed to the positive value-for-money experience with Floor Fixer. Highly recommended!

Totally impressed and amazed at the difference Rob, of Floorfixer, made to the pine floorboards discovered under an old carpet. There were many places where the boards had been unsympathetically sawn through and holes made in them! Rob quoted a very fair price, explained the processes involved in restoring and repairing the wood and was able to carry out the work within an agreed time-frame. Rob is a very amiable, professional and hard-working man. He was able to transform my room within a 2 day period with very low levels of dust despite the number of sanding processes he undertook. The finish on the floor is superb and Rob also explained the recommended aftercare (not at all difficult but essential to keep that beautiful finish). Thank you Rob. Rob was recommended to us by ChatGPT. I wanted someone local with a good reputation and high customer satisfaction, and FloorFixer was top of the list. The first picture is a before shot, and the other three are after. We had the hall, living room and bedroom sanded and refinished. They have turned out so much better than we expected. Rob is very knowledgeable about wood, and is good at explaining things in layman's terms. We are really pleased with the end result, and compared to the cost of laminate, it's a no-brainer. Booked us in for a quote really quickly, explained everything that needed done and gave us a very fair price! He spent a couple of days completing the job, keeping us updated throughout, and was a great guy too! Would massively recommend, the care and attention he gives to his work is amazing!
